AVENUES OF THE MIND

enlightened academics - inspired parenting

Congratulations Homeschool Stars!

Ariana and Max Robinson were nominated to become the Avenues of the Mind  Homeschool Stars by their  mother and father. Both students have impressed their parents with their hard work and dedication to homeschooling. This is their first year homeschooling and the entire family is just loving it. Ariana is ten years old and loves to Irish Step Dance. Max recently turned nine years old and enjoys rock climbing. Both Stars are fluent in French and know how to ride unicycles! They are well seasoned travelers who have already explored much of the United States as well as China, England, and France. Next month they are planning to celebrate Holi in India. On top of being excellent students they are known everywhere they go as two of the most well mannered children in Massachusetts. Keep your eye out for these two stars as they continue homeschooling and spreading joy wherever they go.

“Both of my children are home schooled. We are not just trying to educate them, but teach them a love of learning. Usually they just read a book and put it back on the shelf. Phantom Tollbooth was an exception. First my daughter, Ariana, read it. She enjoyed it so much that she recommended it to her brother. After Max finished, he loved it so much, that both children decided, on their own, to make their own tollbooth. It was a success for us, because, this was a lot of work, but, for them it was a joy. At the end of the day that's all I can really ask for... a joy of learning, and they discovered it on their own!”
